Student equity is a central priority for the California Community Colleges Chancellor\u2019s Office because it ensures that all students have the opportunity to succeed in achieving their educational and career goals. The Chancellor\u2019s Office recognizes that equitable access to education can transform not only individual lives but also strengthen families and communities across California. By focusing on equity, the system works to remove barriers that have historically prevented certain student groups from fully benefiting from higher education.
